Yeah, that sounds like a great idea! Doesn't seem like the rain is going to let up anytime soon.

[ Once again, Beatrix lets out the longest, over-the-top dramatic sigh. This blows! Not only is her date with Fai ruined but she had also been looking forward to going to this cafe for a while.

It takes her a minute to get over her petulant pouting but once she's (semi) back to normal, she knew they had to focus on the task at hand. That being, arriving at Fai's house as safe as possible. He had already gotten wet thanks to her and the last thing she wanted to happen is for him to catch a cold. Suddenly, an idea springs up in her head. In what Beatrix would consider a 'genius' move, she takes off the light weight jacket she had been wearing, draping it over herself and Fai as makeshift umbrella. ]

Since we're going to your place, the least I could do is shield you from getting even more wet.

[ The fact that she takes off her jacket to help keep him shielded is a surprise, as he would have wanted her to keep it for herself, especially with their height difference. He doesn't mind, however, instead letting the warmth that he feels at her little gesture blossom in his chest as he smiles down at Beatrix. ]

I appreciate it, Bea. Are you ready to go?

[ Because he's going to take off running. In preparation for it, Fai helps hold onto her jacket so that it doesn't droop as they run. ]
