[ The events of the Fontinalia Film Festival will forever be engraved in her heart. From working with the former Hydro Archon on a movie to the crazy twist that Mr. Morris is actually the killer, Yoimiya's adventures in Fontaine have been filled with nothing but excitement and thrills to last her a lifetime. But despite it all, the best part of the trip is without a shadow of a doubt, spending time with Ayaka. Days have passed and images of her dear, sweet Ayaka shining like a star still play in her mind on repeat. The Shirasagi Himegimi's acting was superb, she played the role of Iris perfectly, Yoimiya can still hear the raw emotion in her voice when she cried and vowed to get revenge for her mother.

And the way she held that musket... so cool. Yoimiya might have had to fan herself a little LOL because that was kinda hot whiaoshg Everything she witnessed that day was truly a testament to Ayaka's acting skills. Yoimiya swears that she can nail any role given to her and gosh, she can't stop thinking about how amazing it would be if this kickstarted Ayaka into an actress career and ultimately, becomes the greatest movie star in Teyvat. If so, she hopes she's given the chance to support her friend from behind the scenes and make her shine brighter than even her own fireworks.

Supporting Ayaka and traveling with her across every corner of Teyvat...

Yeah, that sounds like a wonderful dream. Yoimiya would give anything to go on adventures with her.

But for now, she's satisfied to spend time with her dearest friend. It's rare for either one of them to leave Inazuma so she absolutely wants to make the most of their journey now that the Sakoku Decree has been lifted. They've only scratched the surface of Fontaine, there's still so much of the majestic Hydro nation that they haven't seen and while they have time, Yoimiya wishes to spend every moment with Ayaka.

It's the next day early morning when they meet up at Café Lutece to discuss their plans on how to tackle the rest of their vacation. A gigantic map of Fontaine with bright red circles drawn all over is sprawled across the table, Poisson, Loch Urania, the Weeping Willow of the Lake, the Nostoi Region... Yoimiya has diligently made notes of places they still have yet to visit all the while she happily munches on one of those fancy crepes she can't pronounce the name of. (Crepe Suzy? Crepe Suzu? Crepe Zuzuzu??? Bah, the name doesn't matter because it's delicious.) ]

Hmmm... there's still so much to see Fontaine. [ nomnomnomnom ] We could probably make an entire day trip just swimming in the ocean. Oh, oh, oh! I also heard that giant Willow tree in Erinnyes Forest is a must see! But before I get ahead of myself, is there any where in particular you'd like to visit, Ayaka?

[ It all still feels like a miracle, that Ayaka was able to leave Inazuma and actually see another part of the world, and every single day, every hour, every minute and second spent in Fontaine feels like such a dream come true. Ever since they arrived, Ayaka hasn't stopped smiling! Least of course until she was in front of the camera and had to act.

All her life, she's dedicated herself to the arts, after all. Not only has she read many books, wishing she could be the heroine in those stories, but she's watched a lot of theatre as well. Applying everything she's learned in real life is not easy, but she has a lot of inspiration to use. Her usually reserved nature means that she finds all the attention and praise a little too much, but she certainly can't find it in herself to dislike it all. Being able to try something new is such a once in a lifetime experience, and she treasures and will continue to treasure each memory she's made in this experience.

It is also a miracle that Ayaka was even able to get some sleep. Everything has been so exciting that she had so much energy when she went to bed, but her busy days the past however long it's been since they started filming has finally caught up to her. She sleeps with a smile on her face and wakes up to a new day and a new chapter in her life. The film festival may be over, but there's still some time before they all have to go back to Inazuma. It would be best to see the rest of the nation before they go, which is what she and Yoimiya set out to do to begin with.

Admittedly, with how busy the filming has been, Ayaka hadn't been able to spend much time with Yoimiya besides eating together or discussing their work. The last time they were able to actually be on 'vacation' together was before filming began, so it really is very nice to be able to spend time together properly again. And even though Yoimiya would never say anything (at least Ayaka doesn't think so), she would still like to make up for any moments lost in case Yoimiya wanted to spend time with Ayaka and she wasn't able to because she had to practice or memorise her lines or do something else.

Ayaka can at least start that off by being the one to pay for their meal at the café. ]

There really is quite a lot, isn't there? The city itself is already so big, and there's even the world underwater to explore!

[ Excited as Ayaka may be, she's also much more demure when it comes to eating her own crepe. Small and reserved bites, and she wipes the corners of her mouth with a napkin after each bite. ]

What if we took a stroll in the Erinnyes Forest for today? Judging by the map, it looks like a rather big place, so that may take up most of our time.

I'd like to be able to see the ocean again, but I'd also like to have a picnic by the beach. We can schedule that tomorrow just so we're not so tired by going to so many places in one day.

In case we have time after our trip to Erinnyes Forest, I suppose we could see if there's a show we could watch.

[ The magic show!! She's been hearing all about it since they arrived in Fontaine! She's sure Yoimiya would love to watch something like that as well. ]

[ Even when eating, Ayaka remains prim and proper as ever. Those small and dainty bites are so charming, the sight enough to pull Yoimiya out of her hamster-like NOMS, and admire how darling her friend is. She's even wiping the corners of her mouth like a true lady, the complete opposite of the blonde with splotches of whipped cream on her cheeks. Truly, she could stand to learn from Ayaka a bit.

Not that it would help her chaotic behavior. She's too busy listening to Ayaka to notice her messy face, nodding along to her suggestions as she imagines the two of them taking a stroll through the wonderous Erinnyes Forest. Although they are on a trip, it's been a challenge to find time for themselves between all the running around Ayaka has been having to do for the filming. With her friend's diligence, she's fairly certain it doesn't bother her, and if anything, she's beyond thrilled to see her break out of her reserved shell and shine like a firework dancing in the night sky. But even so, Yoimiya still wants to see her take a much-needed break from all the stress of being the Shirasagi Himegimi and just enjoy a vacation. Maybe it's a bit selfish of her but Yoimiya greatly appreciates she's taking time out of her busy schedule to spend the day with her silly self. ]

Those are such lovely ideas, Ayaka! Let's do it all. I heard that at night, the lake surrounding the willow tree is so crystal clear that it looks like stars are shimmering on top of the water.

[ More underwater adventures, a picnic by the ocean, a magic show from the famous Lyney and Lynette.... oh, she can't wait to see it all with Ayaka!!! She's already thinking about food she could possibly bring to tomorrow's picnic. ]

You know me so well! I've been itching to see a show from those famous magician twins. If we don't have time today, there's always tomorrow! And maybe we can even drag Ayato along if he ain't busy.

[ The crumbs on Yoimiya's face are a little distracting, so Ayaka has to make sure to remind Yoimiya to wipe her mouth with a napkin before they proceed with their day. It isn't bad or anything, nor is Yomiya committing a crime with the mess, so Ayaka doesn't mind. It's always been like this since they were kids! ]

Would that mean that we should visit the forest at night? That also seems unsafe, and I'd rather not worry Ayato.

[ Between the two of them though, they can definitely fend for themselves! Safety is still more important than anything else though. And thinking about missing out on it makes her frown a little. ]

Perhaps early in the morning then, before the sun rises...?

[ If Yoimiya can wake up early morning anyway, then they can find a way! For now, they can talk about today. Ayaka seems to perk up a lot at the mention of Ayato coming with them, although she knows her brother a little too well. ]

He's always busy though, isn't he? I have a feeling he would say he has a schedule already, but it would still be worth asking.

You wouldn't mind if it was just the two of us who watched the show though, would you, Yoimiya?

[ Bless you for not judging her and her crumb-covered face, Ayaya. She is without a doubt, Inazuma's most precious flower.

This time, Yoimiya catches herself to chew on her crepe a bit more carefully as she listens to Ayaka. She's right, visiting a forest late at night sounds unsafe. Even though she's confident the two of them can bust out a can of whoop-ass on any enemies daring to interupt their date, she'd feel horrible if Ayaka got hurt. Both siblings already have enough as it is on their plate, they don't need an injury on top of everything else the Kamisatos have to deal with. Poor Ayato would have a cow if his precious sister got hurt in a foreign country...

So thus, Yoimiya excitedly nods, already looking forward to their morning trip! She makes a note to bring a kamera to take plenty of pictures, she can already imagine Ayaka looking stunning with that beautiful willow tree behind her. Ah... but before her imagination gets the better of her, there's the faintest hint of a glimmer in her eyes upon hearing her suggestion. ]

Of course! I was actually wanting to spend some alone time with you. With how busy you've been, it's been a while since we had time to ourselves.

[ It's then it hits Yoimiya that she's being a little selfish. Oops. ]

Ah, no offense to your brother or anything! Sorry, I know I sound totally greedy, haha...

[ Gotta hope that Ayato isn't anywhere within earshot. The last thing she wants is to eat one of his questionable hot pots. 😔 ]

[ That is a good point. One that doesn't quite wipe the smile off Ayaka's face, but it's pretty obvious that she does feel a little bad. True, they did go to Fontaine to make a movie, but if being busy with work meant that she was ignoring someone she truly cared about, then it's an avenue to do better. She'll have to make sure Yoimiya feels appreciated, both for coming to Fontaine with them and for being a great friend. ]

I hope I haven't made you feel left out, Yoimiya.

[ It's not even about her brother anymore. Sorry, Ayato, she's forgotten about you for now. There's something more important that she must take care of right this instant!

She reaches for her friend's hand over the table, taking one and bringing it closer so that her other hand can cup the other side of the blonde's hand. ]

Our days have been rather full, but please don't worry. I'll be sure to keep my attentions on you from now on. [ Is it daring? Is it bold? Ayaka can't quite think about that right now. She cares more about Yoimiya's feelings than her shyness. ] Ayato will understand, I'm sure.

[ Oh, Ayaka. Although a small part of her wished to monopolize a bit of her friend's time all to herself, the idea of feeling left out never occurred. So long as she got to see her thrive and take a much-needed break from Kamisato Clan duties then that's enough for her. Nevertheless, she can't deny the feelings stirring inside her, joy flooding every crevice of her heart that she's willing to set time with Ayato to the side to spend it with her. Yoimiya's expression softens as Ayaka reaches over to cup her hand, the warmth of her kindness permeating from her delicate hand is like a summer's day shining down on her.

It's rare for anyone to see Ayaka outside her respective title, and Yoimiya wants nothing more than to take advantage of every waking second. ]

Oh, don't worry, Ayaka. I haven't been feeling left out, really! I'm just happy to see you having fun, watching you shine on stage like the incredible actress that you are fills me with immense joy.

[ She offers her friend a reassuring smile, her thumb skims across the side of her hand to let her know she has not been bothered by her busy schedule. She didn't expect to hear such a bold declaration out of her normally reserved friend but... there's no denying Yoimiya is happy to hear those words. ]

Buuuuut, I definitely won't say no to alone time with Ayaka. I'll send my regards to Ayato later! [ or will she??? ] I'd like to have your eyes on me, hehehehehe.

[ Don't mind her laughing like a fireworks gremlin, she's just happy to have her Ayaka alone time. ]

[ It feels Ayaka with great relief knowing that Yoimiya didn't feel left out after all. Her shoulders relax and Yoimiya might even notice how her face brightens up some. ]

That's such a relief to hear. I'm happy.

[ But she did neglect Yoimiya, that doesn't change that fact! Ayaka is still more than determined to set things right, to make sure that she makes up to her friend as best as she can. ]

Right! Then... it's decided. It'll just be the two of us to watch the show. I'd also be happy to hear about any thing you wish to share with me, since we haven't had much chance to talk lately.

[ Shooting the film did take time after all, and Ayaka would also use her free time to practice or even memorise her lines. There wasn't much chances for catching up, so Yoimiya? Talk Ayaka's ears off! ]

[ Basically? It's Spoil Yoimiya Day! Ayaka lets out a soft laugh, realising that all these plans are actually going to become reality soon. She's getting excited! There's just a bit of tea left in her cup and she's good to go, but. . . ]

Hehe, shall we bring some pastries with us on our walk? Oh, and you'll want to, ah- [ Okay, she's finally doing it! She gives Yoimiya's hands a squeeze before she lets go, all so she can point to the corner of her mouth. ] You have something here, Yoimiya.

[ Ayaka's happiness means the world to her and seeing her like this has her bursting with joy and feeling like they have the entirety of Fontaine at their fingertips. So kind and so sweet... Yoimiya's heart is burning with determination to ensure her friend is also spoiled to death and has the best vacation ever.

She is pumped and ready to go!!!! First pastries and now souvenirs? Ayaka is the best!!! Yoimiya swears she's gonna combust from her darling friend's kindness, it feels like an arrow is getting shot at her heart...

But oh! She's quickly snapped back to reality when Ayaka points out the cream dabbling the corner of her mouth. Oops, how long has she been like this...? Eh, doesn't matter! Looking like a hot mess is her claim to fame. ]

Hehehe, sorry you had to see me like this! Guess you could say I was still so starstruck by the beautiful actress in front of me that I made a mess of myself, haha.

[ Giggling, Yoimiya can't help herself as she sends a cute lil wink her way before wiping the side of her mouth clean. That probably wasn't as smooth as she thought but eh, Ayaka always deserves to be praised! Regardless, she motions for a nearby server to box up the last of their pastries so they can embark on their adventure. ]

I'd like to get a special souvenir for you as well! So, what do think about doing a little gift exchange once we're done? And while we're looking around maybe we can go in on something together for Thoma and Taroumaru?

[ Yoimiya has always been one to dish out compliments so easily, but there's something about being called a "beautiful actress" that not only colours her cheeks rose, but also gets her to smile and laugh. ]

That's a new title. [ To be called an actress and all! Ayaka cannot refute it though, but she does shake her head as she smile that she has on doesn't seem to be disappearing any time soon. ] I am still Ayaka, though. And there is no one else I'd rather be when I am with you.

[ Yoimiya thinks she wasn't as smooth as she would have liked, but it doesn't matter to Ayaka when all she values honesty and loyalty above all else. She hopes that Yoimiya will not be too starstruck now, when she is with someone she's known for most of her life. ]

That sounds like a splendid idea to me. It seems our day is going to be filled with all kinds of pleasant surprises, hm?

[ She can't bounce around in excitement like Yoimiya can, but she truly, truly is so excited to start off their adventure now. Some new hair clips for Yoimiya would make a good gift, she thinks, or maybe even a cute hat! ]
